Content Writer / Copywriter – Digital Marketing CampaignsDynamic opportunity in the insurance industry to craft high-impact marketing content across digital channels. This role focuses on campaign development, SEO-driven copywriting, and data-informed storytelling within an agile, cross-functional environment, offering exposure to integrated campaigns and innovative creative strategies.What is in it for you:
  • Salaried: $25-30 per hour.
  • Incorporated Business Rate: $31-36 per hour.
  • 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  • Remote on Monday and Friday.
  • On-site Tuesday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute compelling content aligned with campaign objectives, including lead generation, retention, awareness, and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Create high-quality content across multiple channels such as email, web, social media, blogs, print, and direct mail.
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all deliverables.
  • Apply SEO best practices to optimize content performance and visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics including engagement, click-through rates, and conversions to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate within agile squads, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by partnering with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ideation and development of innovative marketing concepts.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in content creation or copywriting.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing diverse writing across digital, campaign, and conceptual work.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with digital marketing channels including email, social media, and web.
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with financial services or insurance industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of human-centered design thinking is an asset.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
