- Develop and document statements of requirements for work to be performed.
- Perform business analysis of functional requirements to identify business rules, information needs, processes, and workflows.
- Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, and application subsystems.
- Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
- Identify candidate business processes for re-design, prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information and suggest a recommended course of action. Identify the modifications to the automated processes.
- Establish acceptance criteria with client.
- Support and use the various methodologies such as the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Work closely with the program manager on a high priority program with various connected tracks running in parallel in an agile environment.
- Assist with managing the program/projects during the initiation, planning, development, implementation and operations startup
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned track leads to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program and project risks.
- Report progress of the program and projects to program/project governance an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the lifecycle.
- Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.
- Work with a variety of program and/or project management tools.
- Must have a College Diploma or University Degree in an IT discipline.
- Must have a Certification in Business Analysis issued by IIBA or similar.
- Must have 10+ years experience within the last 12 years in a Business Analysis role.
- Must have 10+ years of experience in the following domains:
- Business Analysis practices and IT trends
- Project and Program Management practices
- Business Analysis Planning
- Strategic Business Analysis / Data Analysis / Solution Design
- Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Relationship Management
- Business and Technical Feasibility
- Business Development and Performance Measurement
- Must have 2+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with the Federal Government, Crown Corp or other Public Sector is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
- Degree: Must have a College Diploma or University Degree in an IT discipline.
