Job Description:As a Field Service Technician at Pitney Bowes, you will play a key role in the Client's life cycle and experience. We are seeing mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a client-facing environment. In this role, you will provide service to a variety of clients and support field service for all our shipping and mailing technology, from Inserters to Lockers. A successful Field Service Technician is client-centric, has strong customer service, is comfortable managing significant windshield time, and has experience repairing or troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions.Your primary service area will be within 3 hours of Montreal, Québec Canada; some travel beyond this radius may be required.In this role, you will have a consistent Monday – Friday schedule working in alignment with traditional office hours (some overtime may be required). The wage range for this position is $22 to $28 / hour, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.This position is eligible to earn an incremental incentive of 10% on any sale of service or parts you present to Pitney Bowes clients.You are:Someone who enjoys working on and repairing mechanical or electrical componentsExcited by the idea of working for a career company with a 105-year historySomeone who enjoys being in a field-based role with significant windshield timeMotivated by the opportunity to earn additional income by selling services or parts you present to Pitney Bowes clientsBilingual: Canadian French and EnglishYou will:Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment for our clientsSupport both Hardware and Software solutionsTroubleshoot and repair equipment successfully with the goal of reducing Client callbacksTrain clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at the time of installationWork in a 100% client facing capacity as a representative of Pitney BowesCover a multi-zip code territory requiring significant windshield timeUtilize hand tools or small power tools to execute repairs, maintenance, and installations of Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipmentMaintain a safe and clean work environmentYour BackgroundAs a Field Service Technician, you have:Bilingual Canadian French and EnglishA valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportationThe ability to lift 55 lbs + with or without accommodationThe ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield timeThe ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods of timeComplete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC and Networking (Preferred)Experience with automated equipment (Preferred)Our Team:
