Compensation Analyst

- Partner with hotel Directors of People & Culture to complete market compensation surveys for the hospitality industry.
- Stay abreast of market trends and legislation and making program and policy recommendations as necessary to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Assist in labor budgeting for hotels by provide compensation and cost of living/labor data and analytics.
- Provide research and analytics on compensation structures and practices, advising on competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with external consultants on tax equalization recommendations for executive relocation packages.
- Maintain centralized data collection system to maintain up-to-date compensation information by region for all General Managers and Hotel Managers.
- Implement and administer Four Seasons job evaluation system.
- Collaborate with internal communications team to support compensation communication plans and materials for employees.
- Assist in the annual “year-end” compensation process including merit, annual incentives, and long-term incentives at Corporate and across the hotels.
- Provide ad hoc research and analytics to support on the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs across the organization.
- Formal training in Compensation Fundamentals and or a related university degree is required.
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.
- Strong knowledge of current compensation best practices and trends.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task under time constraints, and exercise good judgment.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical, organizational, planning and researching skills.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to respond to employee inquiries courteously and effectively with all levels of management and for global employees.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Workday and Workday’s Compensation Module considered an asset.
