This is a hands-on creative role focused on producing high-quality 2D art assets for our games. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other artists to bring engaging visuals to life, contributing to the signature look and feel of our products.You will contribute to a wide range of visual elements, including:Character design, poses, and expressions (realistic or cartoon styles)Environments, backgrounds, matte paintings, and texturesUI elements, symbols, logos, and menusStoryboards, layouts, and promotional assetsYou’ll be expected to deliver polished, visually consistent artwork that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines. This role requires strong artistic sensibilities, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different visual styles.This position is part of a new, innovative team at Light & Wonder focused on exploring the creative potential of AI-powered art tools. You’ll be working with cutting-edge platforms like Layer.ai to enhance and accelerate the creative process, helping shape the future of game art production.QualificationsWhat You Bring3–5 years of experience in 2D game art or digital illustration, with a strong portfolioProficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator is a plus)Familiarity with AI-powered art tools such as Layer.aiStrong drawing and sketching skills for concept developmentUnderstanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytellingFamiliarity with game development pipelines and asset optimizationAbility to work efficiently and meet production deadlinesCuriosity, creativity, and a passion for games and designBilingual – Comfortable in a French-speaking environmentNice to HaveExperience with 3D tools such as 3ds Max or BlenderFamiliarity with Unity or Unreal EngineBackground in casino gaming or interactive entertainmentAdditional Information
