- Develop, coordinate and execute research project work plans and timelines.
- Conduct literature reviews
- Write research grant proposals to secure funding for additional projects under supervision.
- Assist with the ongoing growth, development and administration of research projects.
- Prepare and submit conference abstracts and manuscripts under supervision.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- PhD in public health, clinical epidemiology, data science or a health-related field.
- Proven accomplishments in epidemiology-related research, with a minimum of 2 years of research experience in women's and children's health-related disciplines.
- Ability to work independently (utilizing problem-solving skills, consultation skills) as well as contributing to team development.
- High-level research skills - research design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional verbal and written science communication skills for effective manuscript writing, abstract writing, and presenting to research groups.
- Supervisory experience is an asset.
- Canadian experience in health-related research will be considered advantageous.
- Experience in health education and quality improvement-related research will be considered advantageous.
- Experience in microbiome work will be considered advantageous.
