
Electromechanical Technician

- Locate faults and determine their causes.
- Analyze and perform assembly, disassembly, adjustment and maintenance work on the various equipment.
- Perform some welding and plumbing work.
- Check devices in poor working order using control devices such as ammeters and voltmeters.
- Examine electrical devices such as motors, generators and circuit breakers for anomalies.
- Installer of power and control cables.
- Analyze, locate and resolve faults using programmable automatisms.
- Participate in the development and monitor the ongoing preventive maintenance program and keep the appropriate records.
- Repair and / or replace electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic parts.
- Connect and / or disconnect electrical and mechanical equipment when required.
- Ensure equipment is locked when necessary.
- Participate in the mechanical start-up and subsequently in the surveys and monitoring of electrical projects and;
- Communicate to his supervisor any anomalies and / or breakage of equipment and make recommendations.
- Comply with factory and Health / Safety regulations.
- College Diploma or Trade in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, other relevant training.
- 1-year experience in electrical maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Good knowledge of programmable logic controllers.
- Experience in reading plans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
