This employment opportunity is open only to Canadian citizens, to landed immigrants in Canada, or to foreign nationals who are legally authorized to work in Canada.Your mission:Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the Electrical Engineer will be a key player in overall plant asset management and reliability supporting the safe production of pulp.
  • Electrical engineering for capital and maintenance projects
  • Contribute to asset life cycle planning and continual maintenance
  • Maintain plant standards for electrical assets
  • All aspects of E&I change management workorder and project execution, planning, design, scoping, construction supervision, commissioning, and project completion
Your profile:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience in an industrial environment with VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, DCS
  • Experience with various electrical systems (600V-13.8kV)
  • 5-10 years' experience in an operating plant environment - Pulp Mill experience preferred
  • Demonstrated successful execution of E&I Projects including design, specification, contracting, install, commissioning, and operations/maintenance turnover
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with all levels of the organization
  • Problem-solving and technical skills
