
Process Engineer

- Develop area KPIs
- Downtime tracking and production loss reporting
- Determine and document process operating best practices
- Troubleshoot process and process control issues
- Advise Operations staff on process/process control opportunities and operating parameters
- Maintain and develop process control functional specifications
- Capital project development
- Maintenance turn-around duties
- Mentor and train junior process engineers, process operators, and others who will benefit
- Identify and actively pursue opportunities for personal and professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta is an asset
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry or other industrial/manufacturing sectors is a strong asset
- Familiarity with process control systems, data analysis tools, or manufacturing software (e.g., DCS, PI, Excel, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to capital project development or process improvement initiatives
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in industrial environments
- Start: Immediate start possible or within two weeks of offer
