
Director of Growth Marketing

- Passionately lead a team of marketing professionals in delivering on Method’s growth, partnering closely with product and sales to accelerate paid customer acquisition, with a focus on ICP and high-value segments with high retention
- Optimize current programs to deliver results, while simultaneously crafting longer-term 2-year strategic plans and developing team capabilities aligned to Method’s goals and that reflect consumer and market changes
- Own customer acquisition KPIs (trials, syncs, paid customers) and be an expert at managing marketing channel metrics as well as delivering on ROI benchmarks; produce monthly reports, lead ongoing acquisition forecasting and implement necessary course-corrections to achieve goal
- With a deep understanding of the customer, their related pain points and needs; produce and oversee integrated marketing plans from inception to launch that drive brand awareness, acquisition and retention focused on value creation for customer
- Oversee the complete user acquisition funnel including: website, email, content marketing, social, paid advertising, webinars, events, SEO, SEM, partnerships, etc.
- Gather, analyze and identify opportunities across demand generation activities, using internal data and best practice B2B marketing insights to make recommendations around team programs and activities
- Manage the martech stack, suggest new tools, automated unnecessary work and build out our dataflows, improve our data quality, reporting, etc.
- Enable the team to maximize their impact by providing coaching, support, and guidance, coordinating best use of resources, review of projects and potential risks, as well as resolving bottlenecks and defining a strong team culture
- Recruit and develop top talent while maintaining hands-on execution
- You should have proven, demonstrable and referenceable experience in marketing roles with a track record of driving business growth and exceeding KPIs (ideally at a B2B SaaS company scaling from $10MM to $50MM ARR)
- We are looking for more than just a data-driven leader but someone who has the technical experience to own and understand parts of marketing operations including automations, data and insights and tech stack etc.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other marketing technologies
- The idea of leaning into new areas and tools like Ai to power our marketing efforts forward should be exciting not intimidating
- Experience coaching and mentoring a team; proven track record in building and leading teams with high engagement and results
- Passionate, optimistic and motivated to help us grow
- Audit acquisition channels and identify quick wins and long-term gaps; take actions to hit ongoing acquisition goals
- Review and refine targeting and messaging across campaigns
- Assess current martech stack, dataflows, and reporting quality
- Review and make recommendations to kick-start outbound channel
- Refine and lead team to actionable partnership growth strategy
- Improve customer retention during first 180 days via improved email and SMS triggered messaging and customer journey plans
- Deliver updated acquisition forecast with clear ROI benchmarks
- Lead annual planning process that includes alignment to integrated campaigns aligned to business priorities and product launches
- Evaluate team strengths and identify resourcing or capability gaps
