Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Microbulk Technical Sales Specialist (Full Time)- St. Laurent, QCPrimary PurposeThe candidate in this role will be responsible for delivering on growth targets as defined by the Business in Microbulk gas applications through close collaboration and support of our territory managers as a technical expert. As a focused ‘hunter’, the candidate will also work in collaboration with the sales team to find new business opportunities in new and existing applications to drive growth.Key Accountabilities
  • Facilitates comprehensive technical audits of clients work processes using analytical tools, an in depth understanding of their process and how Linde’s gases and equipment can improve their productivity.
  • Formalizes and presents productivity solutions and value-added alternatives to existing and potential customers.
  • Proactively identifies, investigates, evaluates, and develops new emerging growth/business applications and initiatives.
  • Works closely with the regional sales teams to carry-out the regional strategy, manage and track leads and develop accounts to ensure Linde is capturing all available business.
  • Acts as a technical support specialist and application expert for the sales team.
  • Inspires collaboration and team selling leveraging the sales team as well as other Linde assets to optimize business results.
  • Will stay abreast of new emerging markets trends ( both in Canada and globally) economic trends, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develops and executes plans for individual customers and prospects, and puts SMART goals in place to deliver new business wins.
  • Develops deep relationships with key stakeholders across the customer organization and facilitates strategies to enable other Linde team members to do the same.
  • Oversees, manages and troubleshoots implementation/installs at customer sites.
  • Facilitate training seminars as well as hands on training & demonstrations for sales team and customers.
  • Manages and mitigates identified account risks.
  • Focuses on key performance indicators through management of various review functions.
  • Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of leadership objectives.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, sales, marketing, or technical discipline
  • 5+ yrs. experience in a similar role and/or with field sales experience within the gas industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of industrial gas applications across all industry segments
  • Fluent in French & English
  • Functional skills: Selling and negotiations, Problem solving, Written and oral communication, Product/Process knowledge, Continuous learning, Time management, Customer Relationship Management, Planning and organizing, Critical and innovative thinking.
  • Strong financial, analytical and business acumen required
  • Must be well organized and able to handle multiple priorities with time management proficiency
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills essential
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing customer/territory sales plans, deep customer insight, and knowledge of competitive landscape
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, & closing abilities
  • Strong understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet assigned deadlines.
