  • Duties include (but are not limited to) working as part of the IPG HR Service team on onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and payroll administration for IPG HR service clients.
  • Provide HR services for clients in the development, administration, and implementation of HR-related programs, plans, and policies for their organization, all while reducing liability and enhancing productivity through improved communication and effective HR practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal laws affecting the human resources function and use expertise to educate and advise clients accordingly.
  • Provide consultation on a variety of employment-related concerns to IPG clients such as employee discipline, performance improvement, separations, terminations, and general employee management.
  • Assist the HR Service Manager in maintaining IPG HR product offerings to ensure the availability of resources to meet client needs and to reduce employer liability, such as employee handbooks, recruiting, pre-employment screening, performance management, compensation/wage surveys, online training, and other HR product offerings as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or other related fields.
  • 2+ years of HR practicing experience in the USA or Canada.
  • Experience in Payroll and Benefits Administration is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, to facilitate communication with clients in China.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP or other payroll systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to complete tasks and processes accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to multitask and produce results under tight deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently without constant supervision.
  • Responsible and result-oriented.
  • Demonstrated skill and experience using Microsoft Office; particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
