Job Description:Recent graduate of an HR Program in College or University? Looking to start your career in Human Resources? Our partnered client located in Mississauga is looking to add a new member to their HR Team. This permanent hybrid opportunity will work 2 days on site in the Mississauga office providing HR support to internal employees.Do you hold a passion for employee relations? The successful candidate will speak fluent French Supporting an HR Director and HR Manager with a dotted line to the HR Lead in the US. You will hold a strong ability to articulate your message to internal team members and provide recommendations on internal employee concerns.Confident in your ability to collaborate and solve problems? - Speaking with internal employees regarding their concerns
- Offer recommendations to solve employee concerns
- Collaborate with managers to source solutions for employees
- Develop strategies and employee engagement programs
- Manage accurate records of employee files
- Building and implementation of new policies with management
- Review policies to assure compliance with management
- Strategize on new methods for employee engagement
- Working within HR legislation to assure compliance
- Prepare recognition communications
- Manage onboarding process including documents and required paperwork for new hire packages
- Handle employee requests and manage employee relationships
- Offer support and guidance to employees with internal issues and concerns
- Assist with training & development
- Maintaining electronic filing system & personnel documents
- Must be bilingual - French/English as you will be working with QC employees who do not speak English
- 1-3 years experience within an HR role ideal focused around employee best practises
- Experience working within a start up HR Department would be an asset
- Experience managing Recruitment process from job posting to onboarding
- Understanding of Canada Labour Code and ESA regulations
- University or College Education, preferably within an HR focused course
- CHRP Designation is an added bonus
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws and best practices
- Ability to multi-task and work closely with management when required
- Strong communication skills to roll out new processes when required
- Ability to manage projects and timelines
