- Respond to homeowner inquiries by phone and email, providing clear updates and information.
- Maintain positive, professional interactions, even in high-pressure or escalated situations.
- Coordinate homeowner touchpoints, including 7-day check-ins and Tarion-related timelines.
- Manage updates in Home Hub and communicate with Tarion on escalated files.
- Input and manage warranty items in NewStar; ensure accuracy of service records.
- Schedule repair appointments with Service Technicians and trades for 30-day, year-end, two-year, and MSD inspections.
- Follow up with trades to confirm attendance and track completion.
- Rebook appointments and manage changes as needed to maintain service flow.
- Process technician schedules, work orders, and notes in NewStar.
- Create and send purchase orders for billable work to trades.
- Track aging service calls and send weekly reports to vendors.
- Coordinate model home repairs and order materials as needed.
- Maintain homeowner files and monitor completion timelines in line with Tarion standards.
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Construction, Home Building, or Administration is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in customer service; residential construction experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with NewStar and Tarion Warranty Guidelines is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
