Location: Hybrid in Toronto
Duration: 6+ MonthsPay Range: C$56 INCIntroduction:We are seeking skilled Migration Engineers to provide technical leadership and hands-on support for a large-scale enterprise source code migration from Bitbucket to GitHub. This role involves pre-migration preparation, executing migration scripts, troubleshooting post-migration issues, and ensuring a seamless transition for development teams. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in developer and DevOps toolsets, modern SDLC practices, and Git-based workflows.Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of developer and DevOps toolsets.
- Experience with large-scale source code migrations, preferably Bitbucket to GitHub.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, governance, and tooling.
- Working knowledge of common development or scripting frameworks: Java, Node.js, Python, Bash.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- ServiceNow integration.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers.
- Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
- Provide pre- and post-migration technical support for Bitbucket to GitHub repository migrations.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and platform engineering teams to validate migration readiness.
