- Capgemini is seeking a skilled Data Machine Learning Engineer to support a large-scale engagement for a leading Canadian bank
- This role will focus on designing and building robust data and ML feature inference pipelines with a strong emphasis on automation scalability and production grade solutions
- The ideal candidate will bring a balanced blend of data engineering and machine learning engineering expertise with hands-on experience in cloud-based platforms
- The engagement leverages an existing AWS production environment including data pipelines and ML workflows and involves migrating and integrating models from other teams into a centralized AWS based system
- Design build and maintain automated data ingestion transformation and ML inference pipelines Develop and operationalize ML workflows using AWS native services
- Support migration of existing ML models into the clients AWS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional client and Capgemini teams to ensure production stability data quality and performance
- Apply best practices in CICD data quality engineering and cloud native development Technology Environment
- The solution stack includes AWS Glue for data processing AWS SageMaker Notebooks for ML development and model lifecycle management Apache Airflow for orchestration and workflow scheduling Integration with the client's enterprise technology stack
- 3 years of experience in programming using Python Java or equivalent including proficiency with a SQL like language 3 years of experience delivering production software in one or more of the following areas
- Big data processing e.g. Spark Hadoop or equivalent
- Data warehousing platforms e.g. Teradata SQL Server PostgreSQL or equivalent
- Data quality engineering
- Continuous integration and development.
- 13 years of experience building and or maintaining machine learning models
- Hands on experience with Apache Airflow.
- 13 years of experience with AWS cloud services including AWS Glue SageMaker Athena or equivalent services
- Experience developing AI Agents and/or GenAI based solutions AWS certifications Data Engineer Associate ML Engineer Associate or equivalent
- Prior experience in the financial services industry with a broad understanding of Marketing and Product Management, Sales and pricing, Finance and risk management.
