Compensation: $94,000 - $141,000 CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentiveSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Developing and managing timelines for the Company’s long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Leading development of guiding principles and assumptions for long-range planning and budgeting
- Working closely with OU finance to consolidate company forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans
- Analyzing OU submissions, ensuring data integrity, developing a thorough understanding of financials, and challenging where appropriate
- Prepare commentary and presentations for Senior Management and BoD
- Providing support for ad hoc analytics and special projects to enable SLT decision-making
- Helping drive continuous improvement of the company-wide FP&A processes
- Developing, motivating, and managing 1 direct report
- Post-secondary education in a finance or business-related program
- Completion (or near completion) of professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA)
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience with focus on FP&A, preferably with a public company
- Advanced financial modeling and analytics capabilities
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Mindset of continuous improvement
- Inclusive and collaborative approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in the CPG industry or non-CPG manufacturing environment
- Experience with consolidation and intercompany eliminations
- Experience with statement of earnings, balance sheet and cash flow
- Hands-on experience with one or multiple FP&A tools (e.g., BPC, Hyperion suite, Adaptive Insights, etc.)
- Proficiency in creating and managing Excel macros using VBA
- Previous supervisory experience
