- Lead the annual budgeting process, along with regular forecasting and long-term planning.
- Build and maintain financial models that support business decisions and scenario planning.
- Ensure financial plans are aligned with business priorities and flag any risks or opportunities.
- Oversee full Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, including monthly reviews and variance analysis (actuals vs. budget, forecast, and prior year).
- Provide clear insights into what’s driving results and recommend actions where needed.
- Help define and track key metrics to measure business performance.
- Work closely with leaders across the business (operations, sales, HR, etc.) to support decision making process.
- Provide financial input on new initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Translate financial data into insights that are easy to understand and act on.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow, ensuring the business has clear visibility into its position.
- Identify opportunities to improve working capital and overall cash management.
- Lead and support a team of FP&A professionals, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Coach and develop team members, helping them grow their skills and careers.
- Support improvements in tools and systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
- Support special projects, business cases, and deeper analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional Finance Designations such as CPA-CMA; or MBA preferred.
- 12–15+ years of experience in FP&A, with several years leading a team.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and how it connects to planning and reporting.
- Experience working closely with senior leaders and influencing decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills: including financial modeling and use of advanced formulas, charting, and pivot tables.
- SAP experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable explaining financials to non finance partners.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational drivers.
- Results Oriented and Critical Thinking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $155,099
