ShareTop JobLocated in Mississauga, ONSalary: $22.50-$24We're currently hiring an Inventory Lead for our client based in Mississauga!Key Responsibilities:1. Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, organizing, and tracking inventory levels.2. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies.3. Implement and maintain efficient inventory control processes to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolete inventory.4. Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory items.5. Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to optimize inventory supply chain.6. Train and supervise warehouse staff on proper inventory handling procedures and safety protocols.7. Monitor inventory turnover rates, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement to optimize inventory performance.8. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.9. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.11. Performs daily cycle counts efficiently and accurately via RF Scanner.12. Ability to perform physical and systematic research on orders or PO’s to confirm an error13. Required to use forklift and hand equipment to move product or pallets, up to 50lbs. Must have a general understanding of common shipping techniques to ensure proper product protectionQualifications:· Minimum of 1+ years of experience in inventory management or related field.· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or related field is preferred.· Proven track record of success in inventory control, including experience with inventory tracking systems and software.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.· Strong leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and coaching warehouse staff.· Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.Express Office: Mississauga (North)377 Burnhamthorpe Road EastSuite 112AMississauga, ON L5A 3Y1
