- Set up, program, and operate Haas CNC Mill using G-code and conversational controls.
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, inserts, speeds, and feeds based on materials and tolerances.
- Inspect machined components using precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust offsets, and optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Maintain accurate documentation for setups, programs, and production runs.
- Technical diploma in machining, manufacturing, or a related field (mandatory).
- 3+ years of CNC Mill operation and programming experience.
- Proficiency in Mastercam for CNC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings and GD&T.
- Proficient with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges).
- Experience working in a custom machine-building environment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and understanding part drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience with manual machining (lathe/mill) is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
