DescriptionAccounting Manager (Hybrid | Toronto & Collingwood, ON)We are partnering with a growing, mission-driven organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead full-cycle accounting operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who can work independently, bring strong corporate accounting expertise, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.Location & Schedule
Hybrid role: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Initial onboarding primarily in Collingwood (free parking)
Ongoing flexibility to work from both Collingwood and Toronto offices (paid parking in Toronto)
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
Annual performance bonus (10-15%)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow analysis
Manage accounting related to investment activity, fees, and disbursements
Handle vendor payments, tax filings (including HST rebates), and banking activities
Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external partners
Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and confidentiality standards
Identify and implement process improvements
Supervise and mentor one direct report

Qualifications

CPA designation (required)
7-10 years of full-cycle accounting experience in a corporate environment
Strong understanding of investment accounting and financial reporting
Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks (Desktop) and Excel (advanced functions)
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300) is an asset
Exposure to Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) is highly desirable
