- Monitor project-related costs and analyze variances against budgets and forecasts
- Support project performance through detailed financial tracking and analysis
- Assist with the preparation of project billings and help monitor related collections activity
- Maintain and reconcile project financial data across operational and accounting systems
- Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries related to project performance
- Prepare and review project financial reports, including WIP reporting
- Contribute to forecasting activities, including cost projections and cash flow considerations
- Support reconciliation of contracts, change orders, and vendor commitments to project financials
- Ensure consistent cost allocation and financial documentation across projects
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and address discrepancies
- Assist with tracking key project metrics and performance indicators
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Progress toward a CPA designation is considered an asset
- Experience supporting project-based environments (construction, engineering, infrastructure, or similar industries) is required
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reconciliations
- Experience in preparing financial reports and supporting forecasting activities
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with operations and finance teams
