
Plant Administrator (Part Time)

- Point of contact for site administrative items including bulletin boards, Corporate policy and informational postings etc.
- Accountable to provide first level customer service to plant visitors, escalating as required.
- Process incoming mail, scan and forward to appropriate internal parties
- Coordinate local functions including holiday celebrations, luncheons, etc.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to local management but not limited to report generation, and data entry/analysis
- Maintain office equipment and supplies, procuring items as needed and through appropriate channels, including break room supplies
- File QHSE documents where required
- Maintain on site files as per the file retention policy
- Generate and maintain weekly Power Point presentations (EE information)
- Create and upload to SharePoint a MPR (Monthly Performance Report)
- Create purchase requisitions for office supplies, manufacturing, and maintenance
- Review daily hours in Dayforce working closely with Plant Management
- Maintain a safe working environment by aligning with corporate safety rules and regulations, and ensuring a safety culture towards IIF (Incident and Injury Free)
- Sustainment of SOP's, competency assessments
- Completion of necessary HSE tools like ASA, take 5's, Stop Work using Velocity
- Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate all forms of waste in process
- Support data entry and record keeping to meet environmental and regulatory requirements (Ex.: air emissions and waste management)
- Ensure that all powered mobile equipment inspections are completed and stored.
- Support hourly employee recruitment processes, including forwarding applications to Corporate HR team, coordinate interviews as required, and schedule pre-employment candidate testing on an as needed basis
- Complete new employee onboarding and forward documents to Corporate HR
- Maintain currency of onsite employment related postings including legislative requirements and employment postings
- Provide documentation and information to employees regarding benefit and wellness programs, as well as contact information for internal resources as well as benefit providers and third party leave administrators
- Point of contact for local HR-related inquiries, including policy, pay, benefit items, directing employees to Supervisor or HR Business partner as appropriate for escalations or complex inquires
- Coordinate locally administered programs including immunizations, employee safety shoes, service award distribution as applicable
- Point of contact for local employment related documentation and file maintenance, ensuring aged documentation is transferred to long-term storage as appropriate
- Development of training and related materials to production teams including LMS (Learning Management System)
- Coordinate 30/60/90 day Stay Interviews and maintain tracker on MS Teams
- Maintain plant Vacation Tracker
- Review and forward invoices to Corporate Accounts Payable
- High School Diploma
- 1 - 2 years of related experience
