- Consolidation of Pollard’s subsidiaries’ results into the corporate financial statements, including elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
- Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and MD&A.
- Work closely with subsidiaries’ local accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Provide financial analysis and support for various ad-hoc requests, including creating and delivering customized reports based on specific business needs.
- Support the consolidated budget process by collaborating with local subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate submission of budgets.
- Compilation and analysis of data to support the company’s annual insurance renewal
- Perform research and analysis on IFRS requirements and new accounting standards.
- Support the integration of newly acquired subsidiaries, facilitating proper consolidation of acquisition-related financial data and compliance with IFRS.
- Contribute to special projects including process improvements, system upgrades or strategic financial initiatives.
- A top performer who possesses excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsto effectively work with the local finance teams and senior management in a fast-paced workenvironment.
- A highly analytical, and detail-orientated individual with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Someone who is hands on, organized, self-motivated and possesses strong time managementskills
- CPA designation preferred; candidates actively working towards completion will also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation and IFRS analysis.
- Tech savvy with proficiency using MS Office applications and experience with financial reporting software.
- A high level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving with a focus on process improvement.
