Strategic Marketing & Business Development
- Designing and executing marketing strategies to achieve assigned sales targets and support ATCO Energy's growth objectives
- Identifying emerging market trends and developing plans to capture new opportunities
- Supporting pricing and product positioning strategies using market intelligence
- Acting as a brand ambassador and trusted advisor to commercial and industrial customers
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Negotiating complex energy contracts and managing high-value transactions
- Applying a consultative sales approach to align solutions with customer business objectives
- Facilitating discussions on efficiency, cost management, and sustainability
- Sharing proactive insights to help customers manage their energy needs
- Monitoring Alberta's energy market, regulatory changes, and competitor activity
- Preparing forecasts, performance reports, and executive presentations
- Analyzing customer usage patterns and recommending tailored energy solutions
- Partnering with sales, operations, and regulatory teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Providing insights to support product development and innovation
- Acting as a mentor and leader within the ATCO Energy team
- Representing ATCO Energy at special events, as required

- Persistent, focused, and detail-oriented
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in energy marketing, account management, or commercial sales
- Strong understanding of Alberta's energy market, pricing, and regulation
- Proven ability to manage high-value accounts and strategic plans
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Alberta (~20%)
