Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of Accounting Services’ control framework, ensuring it is robust and capable of mitigating risks and achieving objectives. Leads the Quality Audit team, ensuring processes and controls are upheld and SLAs maintained. Acts as Accounting Services COE Expert for controls and ensuring identification of continuous improvement opportunities, development and implementation of action plans and solutions.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Responsible for ensuring Quality Audit processes are followed and in compliance with SOX controlLead the Quality Audit team (North America, Caribbean, Uk, Vendor Master and Travel and Expense) ensuring SLAs are maintainedAssessing existing controls, identifying weaknesses, and implementing improvements to ensure the integrity of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the overall effectiveness of business processes, inclusive of logging and closing operational reporting events and self-identified issuesWork with management and staff to address control deficiencies and improve the overall control environmentProvide training and guidance to team on control procedures and compliance requirements.Key knowledge resource for controls across Accounting ServicesWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:Strong understanding and knowledge of controls, risk management and all Regulatory and Compliance rulesExcellent people management and change management skillsExcellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of SAP, Concur, Coupa, Great PlainsNice-to-have:Sense of urgency, agile, adaptable and resilient to handle multiple situationsAn innovative thinker who is proactive and well organized with attention to detailStrong communication and client/partner service skillsPassionate about continuous growth, learning and sharing knowledge within a teamWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
