
Junior Transportation Planning Engineer

- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution. A masters degree in transportation engineering or planning is an asset.
- Knowledge of principles, theories, and practices required to undertake traffic engineering and transportation planning assignments.
- Registered, or eligible to register as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in British Columbia, with intent to obtain a professional designation (P.Eng.).
- Understanding of transportation software packages is an asset (e.g., HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, EMME, Vistro, SIDRA).
- 1+ years of relevant experience working on traffic engineering and transportation planning projects is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment.
