Legend Boats is Hiring!We have 1 vacancy for a Full time AZ Driver to expand our team and cover deliveries to our dealer network across Canada. The ideal candidate is someone with long haul and deck work experience. The area of operation for this role is Eastern Canada, however trips into Western Canada and the United States may be required. It should be understood that this role will require someone who is comfortable with being away from home for extended periods of time.Who We Are:Legend Boats is your partner in creating unforgettable memories on the water. Join our team and be part of a company that's dedicated to innovation, quality, and unforgettable boating experiences.Compensation:0.54 cents per mile plus $75 flat rate for all loading and unloading of full loads at dealer locations, factory stores, boat shows, etc. Additionally, drivers will be paid $26 an hour for extra work (not including delays).The ideal candidate is:
  • An experienced AZ driver with long-haul and deck work experience
  • Comfortable with extended periods away from home
  • Familiar with securing and transporting large loads safely
  • Skilled in performing pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers
  • Able to assist with loading and unloading at dealer locations and in the yard
  • Detail-oriented and committed to reporting equipment defects in a timely manner
  • Knowledgeable about Eastern Canada routes, Western Canada and the United States
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in all aspects of the job
  • Capable of working independently while maintaining communication with the team
  • Compliant with mandatory drug testing for U.S. travel
  • Physically fit and capable of handling the job's demands, including heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and securing straps and bars in a physically demanding environment.
What will you be doing?
  • Transporting boats and related equipment to locations across Canada and the U.S.
  • Securing loads properly to ensure safe transport
  • Performing pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers
  • Reporting equipment defects in a timely manner to maintain road safety compliance
  • Assisting with loading and unloading in the yard and at dealer locations
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed on schedule and in compliance with regulations
  • Communicating with dispatch and dealers regarding delivery status
  • Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation as required
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and transportation laws
  • Representing Legend Boats professionally while interacting with dealers and customers
