  • Mechanically and diagnostically inclined, with strong attention to detail
  • An effective communicator, who is good at providing clear explanations and teaching others
  • Has 3 - 10 years’ related experience and a vast knowledge of boats, motors and trailers
  • Has good working knowledge of 2 stroke and four stroke outboards
  • Loves being on the water and lives the boating lifestyle
  • A Mercury Certified Marine Mechanic (Preference will be given to applicants who are Mercury Certified)
  • Fluent in both French and English (not required but definitely a plus)
What Will You Be Doing as a Marine Mechanic?
  • Conduct water tests on boats to address performance issues, evaluate propellers, and test new products. This role requires a valid driver's license and a boating license.
  • Perform seasonal services, including winterizations, to keep boats in peak condition.
  • Assemble various types of boats, including utility boats, side consoles, full windshield boats, pontoons, and deck boats.
  • Build boats for retail sale according to a production schedule for Legend Boats.
  • Carry out warranty repairs and adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction with a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Work efficiently in the workshop to meet daily production and repair goals.
