Because the best results start with different ideas.Role OverviewThe Media Manager is a data-driven, insights-led media strategist and platform expert with hands-on analytics, reporting, and campaign management experience. The ideal candidate will be a natural collaborator with strong presentation skills, high attention to detail, and strategic thinking.This role spans multiple U.S. accounts across the CPG, retail, and health/fitness industries and requires someone comfortable managing the needs and expectations of multiple clients. The Media Manager will serve as a key point of contact for all things media-including Paid Social, Video, OOH, TV, and Content-and must be proficient in media planning, implementation, measurement, and performance reporting.Core ResponsibilitiesSupport the Media Director by leading campaign implementation, optimization, and reporting for key clientsPrepare and present integrated media plans, proposals, and performance analyses that go beyond the briefMaintain accountability for campaign delivery and performance, ensuring consistent optimizationsReview and QA campaign setups across platforms to ensure alignment with KPIs, targeting, and budget allocationOversee junior team members and help manage their workflows and prioritiesCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, agency partners, and departments to stay current on client and industry knowledgeEnsure all media planning adheres to Salt's philosophies and processesLead evaluations of media opportunities, trends, and innovations for client applicationDefine reporting processes for clients and ensure timely delivery of campaign reportsMaintain strong awareness of client KPIs and ensure proper tracking and check-ins are in placeManage client day-to-day planning requirements and ensure alignment with objectivesProactively surface potential challenges or opportunities to the Media DirectorExperience & Skills3-4+ years of experience in a senior media planner or digital strategy role at a media agencyBachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or AdvertisingProficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, and paid social platforms (required)Hands-on experience with Google Data Studio or other dashboard visualization tools (required)Traditional media experience and omni-channel amplification strategies (a strong asset)Track record of managing campaigns for Fortune 50 brandsStrong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailCreative, self-motivated, and results-driven; comfortable rolling up your sleevesWorking knowledge of CRM, SEO, SEM, programmatic, mobile, social, and videoExperience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce (asset)Salt's ValuesSalt of the Earth: Be humble, kind, honest, hardworking, and respectfulDo What's Right: Choose integrity over shortcutsEarn It: Work hard, deliver results, and earn recognitionMake Things Better: Seek solutions, be curious, and drive innovationSeek Different Perspectives: Embrace diversity of thought and experienceSalt XC is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting and retaining the most qualified employees regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, or disability.
