
Senior Contracts Specialist

- Support project managers and business leaders in developing, drafting, and reviewing project contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure that contracts are aligned with Company standards and that risks are clearly identified and appropriately mitigated through terms and conditions.
- Participate in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors as required.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal and commercial implications of contract terms.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, relevant legislation, and client requirements.
- Manage and process contract amendments and change orders, ensuring all changes are documented, authorized, and aligned with project scopes and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of contract modifications and correspondence.
- Monitor contract performance and support project teams in addressing contractual obligations and deliverables.
- Provide guidance on contract-related issues with vendors and subcontractors, including claims, disputes, or breaches of contract.
- Liaise with legal counsel when appropriate to resolve disputes or escalate issues.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to project managers and cross-functional teams on contracting best practices.
- Provide training or coaching on contract terms, risk management strategies, and compliance requirements as needed.
- Manage special contracts-related projects that support the broad-based needs of a rapidly expanding Company.
- All other related duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.
- 7 or more years of experience in contracts management, preferably in engineering, environmental consulting, or construction sectors.
- Experience with a variety of contract types (e.g., fixed price, time and materials, cost-plus) and commercial terms.
- Experience working in an environmental consulting or project consulting setting.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
