If you excel at customer service, have a passion for client care, and a love for animals, we are excited to welcome you to our dedicated teamAbout the RoleThe role of the Client Care Specialist (CCS) is to strengthen the client, animal, veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education. Your role is vital to the success of our hospital! You are the first and last point of contact and have the ability to leave a lasting impression building trust and loyalty with our clients. Your responsibility is to enhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team. Your primary goal is to ensure the clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated.Desired Attributes and RequirementsThe ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure and customer service focused, ideally you have:Prior experience in customer service and administrative dutiesPrior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and VCA WoofwareExceptional client service skillsEmpathetic, nurturing and positive attitudeSkilled in prioritizing needs, open to change and adaptableInitiative in carrying out assignments independentlyAttention to detail with above-average time management skillsMust be flexible and available to work shift work (as early as 6 am and late as 2 am), weekdays, weekends and holidays.Previous veterinary experience or graduate from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferredWhat you have to gainWe offer great access to internal and external continuous learning opportunities at annual VCA Canada conferences and industry leading customer service training through VCA Canada’s Client Experience Program.
