- Analyze data from various sources, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights using analytics tools
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Extract data from various sources and perform necessary data cleaning and transformation
- Translate insights and findings into clear and concise stories for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
- Ensure that project activities are accomplished within approved time frames and scope.
- Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to various projects
- Utilize the latest technologies available, designing and building data solutions to meet business needs
- Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational status
- Constantly seek out better ways to do things, new tools, new technologies, new processes
- Work as part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs
- Use business domain knowledge to independently lead the analytics process to identify valuable and innovative insights
- Promote analytics across the team to enable Learning team to become a data-driven function
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or understanding of tools like SQL/VBA, Excel, and data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to data extract, transform, and load processes with a variety of data types
- Ability to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data and present findings to stakeholders
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting
- Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Programming skills in one or more languages is an asset (ex. Python, R)
- Knowledge of design, development, and implementation utilizing current analytics technologies and architecture, as well as data warehouse concepts and methodologies
- Relational database concepts and design experience
- Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
