- Design, build, and configure middleware integration solutions across multiple platforms and environments
- Install, upgrade, and maintain middleware platforms (e.g., IBM ACE, WebSphere, MuleSoft) to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
- Ensure middleware services meet enterprise standards for security, resiliency, and compliance
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including topology diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures
- Monitor system performance, logs, and metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Implement and manage automated deployment, failover, and backup strategies for middleware services
- Support integration with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Siebel, and Curam
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior integration and operations staff
- Minimum 7 years of experience in middleware/integration technologies in complex enterprise environments
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions using middleware platforms
- Deep understanding of system integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, REST, SOAP, event-driven, messaging)
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience troubleshooting across multiple systems and layers (application, middleware, infrastructure)
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability and performance requirements
- Expertise in middleware platforms such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM WebSphere, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or similar ESBs
- Experience with API Gateway and Management platforms (e.g., IBM API Connect, Azure APIM)
- Proficiency in working with messaging and event platforms (e.g., MQ, Kafka, JMS, Event Grid)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid integration scenarios
- Knowledge of security protocols and integration (OAuth2.0, SAML, mutual TLS, API keys)
- Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Siebel, Curam, or other COTS solutions
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform) for middleware deployment and operations
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in integration environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience developing clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation
- Ability to translate business integration needs into technical requirements and solution designs
- Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of working in cross-functional teams and leading technical discussions
