
Senior Copywriter

- Work alongside the account team's Editorial Director to intake briefs and develop storytelling approaches.
- Hold strategic conversations and exercise editorial decision-making with clients, senior stakeholders and collaborators to shepherd work and advocate for best practices.
- Perform client discovery and topic research to understand business objectives and complex topics, translating them into digestible, clever narratives.
- Develop storytelling ideas by pitching them to stakeholders and clients and guiding ideas from the strategy phase into writing and production.
- Write and edit short and long-form articles, UX copy, social posts, video scripts, emails and more; Re-purpose messaging to live across various publishing platforms.
- Own the copy production process by creating content flows, copy templates and content storage systems for easy transfer between creative team members.
- Have a keen eye for firm style and consistency, a mind for what will make content stand out and voice that drives storytelling excellence across your projects.
- 7+ years writing experience, preferably in the branded publishing, content marketing or agency spaces.
- 5+ years of experience creating digital content
- 3+ years of experience presenting ideas to clients
- 3+ years in the financial services industry preferred
- A diverse portfolio filled with articles, scripts, social posts, UX copy and more
- Experience working with GenAI copy creation tools
- Prior experience managing cross-functional projects and working with creative directors, designers and developers
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from CAD $93,500.00 - CAD $104,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.
