Our Burlington client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager to join their team! Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will be responsible for sales and business development activities for existing and new customers across an assigned territory. The ideal candidate for this position will have proven outside sales experience of a highly technical, manufactured product. This is a hybrid role, requiring up to 40% travel across Canada and USA.What our client can offer you:

  • Proactively engage with new and existing customers through a consultative selling approach
  • Effectively communicate with key decision makers to assess leads and develop strong business relationships
  • Offer effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Prepare pricing agreements for customers
  • Perform sales margin analysis
  • Work collaboratively with the inside sales and customer service teams to effectively manage customer issues
  • Represent the company in trade shows or conferences
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside B2B sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • This position requires strong mathematic and technical competencies, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings/documents is required
  • The ideal candidate for this position will possess a customer-focused sales approach and proven ability to build effective business relationships across any level within an organization
  • Candidates must have exceptional communication and time management skills as well as the ability to work well independently or in a team setting
  • This position is based in Burlington with a hybrid work arrangement and requires up to 40% travel across Canada and USA
