This role requires a strong leader to forecast revenue, service clients, and oversee the Sales, E-Commerce, and Customer Service teamsHere you’ll get to:
- Drive the end-to-end sales process to exceed monthly and annual revenue targets across retail, B2B, and e-commerce channels. Optimize sales volume, product mix, and pricing based on market trends and economic indicators.
- Create, negotiate and launch retail marketing campaigns and ensure prime exposure and revenue generation
- Create and communicate New Releases, change of distribution notices, price changes, sales campaigns, and deletion notices
- Take an active role with vendor managed inventory control to maximize sales and limit risk
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, build bespoke retail marketing campaigns, secure preferred product placement, and seek new opportunities to expand distribution.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Liaise with Marketing to manage trade spend, Operations for inventory needs, and Finance to maximize profitability and mitigate credit risk. Effectively communicate new releases, sales campaigns, and price changes to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the Sales, E-Commerce, and Customer Service teams to develop effective sales strategies, ensure efficient operations, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
- Look for opportunities to expand our customer base and points of distribution
- Post Secondary Degree in Business or equivalent sales and managerial experience and business acumen
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in music distribution preferred
- Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
- Team player committed to delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to oversee simultaneous campaigns and remain calm under pressure
This position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.
