This is a fast paced, changing environment where every day brings something new, and innovative ideas are encouraged. Your contributions will help design and implement robust data architectures, including data modeling, storage, and integration and solutions to facilitate a positive digital and/or AI experience. Design and develop data models for complex systems. Design, develop, orchestrate, and manage AI-powered workflows . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and data solutions into production systems.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How You’ll Succeed
  • Strategy and Roadmap & Execution: Execute and deliver on the vision and roadmap for digital and AI products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and advocate for the value of AI-driven solutions. Demonstrate the ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Relationship Management: Execute and deliver on digital and AI use cases and platform enhancements to improve functionality and employee and client experience. Work closely with business leaders to understand their challenges and opportunities, integrating their insights into product development.
Who You Are
  • You can demonstrate at least 8+ years' SQL and Python, coupled with at least 5 years experience with Azure; hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including building and optimizing data pipelines, managing clusters, and implementing notebooks for data engineering and machine learning tasks. Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics). Experience with Elasticsearch for search, analytics, or data indexing. Knowledge and hands-on experience with AI agents for automation, task orchestration, and system integration in data settings. Practical knowledge of designing and managing AI-driven workflows, preferably in Azure Logic Apps, Azure AI Foundry, or similar environments. Knowledge of machine learning principles and frameworks. Experience or understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) as a means to orchestrate integration across AI models, APIs, and external systems.
