Position Description:The CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal is hiring!The Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, located in Westmount, are seeking criminologists for full-time permanent and temporary positions within the Evaluation and Orientation (EO) Service for Youth Protection (DPJ) reports.At Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, we are driven by a shared conviction: to protect young people and offer them a future filled with hope.What will you do in practice?Within the Evaluation and Orientation (EO) Service, you will analyze reports and implement the necessary protective measures when a child’s safety or development is at risk.

Go into the field to meet children, families, and

; * Quickly assess situations, including risks, needs, safety, and the child’s development;

Propose concrete and safe solutions (living environment, resources, interventions);
Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each youth;
Support parents and guide youth in developing positive behaviors;
Facilitate activities that promote adaptation, rehabilitation, and social reintegration;
Clarify the child’s life plan and facilitate their integration into their environment;
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with legal professionals, physicians, specialists, and other network professionals;
Write reports, document case files, and contribute to the improvement of clinical tools.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.The ideal candidate :

Is a member of the OPCQ (or in the process of becoming

). * Is fluent in English and French.

Has a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
Is adaptable and able to manage changing priorities.
