The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada!We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team, with a focus on truck dispatch, for a Wednesday to Saturday shift.Responsibilities:

Match drivers, trucks, and trailers to orders based on load requirements and qualifications, optimizing fleet resources and ensuring proper utilization.
Assign work based on Hours of Service, driver schedules, equipment needs, and routing
Coordinate equipment availability for fleet maintenance.
Ensure all load-specific instructions are communicated clearly to drivers.
Receive customer orders by phone, email, and fax; enter orders into TMW; and provide order confirmations.
Monitor product (tank) levels and confirm inventory using in-house software; identify discrepancies for review.
Communicate with drivers regarding deviations from planned loads.
Proactively provide delivery status updates and communicate plan changes to customers in a timely manner.
Maintain strong knowledge of regional geography.
Ensure all border crossing documentation is processed, compliant, and submitted in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in forecasting, manpower allocation, and scheduling; able to anticipate issues, adapt to frequent changes, and respond to evolving customer needs.
Proficiency with Windows-based programs is required; TMW experience is an asset
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Customer service–oriented with proven relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Able to maintain composure in challenging situations and stay flexible when plans change.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; takes initiative and demonstrates strong drive.
Previous Import/Export freight processing an asset.
