This hybrid role plays a key role in supporting complex cross-border engagements by ensuring engagement documentation, billing workflows, and practice operations are managed accurately and efficiently within a high-performance professional services environment. Working closely with Partners and tax professionals, you will provide senior-level administrative and coordination support to the local team and broader national practice, contributing to the smooth execution of client engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Onboarding & Engagement AdministrationCoordinate client onboarding activities, including initiating Conflict of Interest checks in accordance with firm policiesEstablish and maintain accurate client records within OneSource CRM and IntappPrepare, review, and assemble engagement letters, ensuring completeness and alignment with firm standardsManage the engagement letter review and approval workflow and track execution to support timely completionBilling, WIP & Financial CoordinationSupport the end-to-end billing process, including invoice preparation and processingAssist Partners with WIP monitoring, billing reviews, revenue tracking, and billing adjustmentsCoordinate combined billings across service lines as requiredGenerate and interpret Workday reports to support A/R monitoring and collections follow-upMaintain accurate billing documentation and ensure adherence to internal proceduresTax Return & Deliverable AssemblyAssemble U.S. corporate tax returns and extensions in accordance with internal processesPrepare client-ready deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professional presentationFormat complex correspondence, proposals, and reports to firm standardsPractice & Team SupportProvide senior-level administrative support to Partners and the US Corporate Tax team locally and nationallyCoordinate meetings, scheduling, and engagement deadlines in a deadline-driven environmentSupport document management, workflow tracking, and proposal preparationIdentify opportunities to enhance administrative efficiency and improve internal processesHow do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and CollaborationYou understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality workYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clientsYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talentYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplaceYou grow your expertise through learning and professional development.Your Experience and Education5+ years of progressive administrative experience, preferably within a professional services or large corporate environmentExperience supporting senior-level professionals in a structured, deadline-driven settingStrong understanding of billing processes, WIP management, and A/R coordinationExceptional organizational, time management, and communication skillsProven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalismAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with OneSource CRM, Intapp, Workday, and AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) is considered an assetFlexibility to work additional hours during peak periodsWhy BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among .
