- Identify network opportunities, work with a cross functional group to determine appropriate solutions, model alternatives with simulation tools and ensure timely execution.
- Analyze data to support Network & Capacity Planning, perform predictive analytics, and find network opportunities for improvement.
- Execute network optimization projects within National Transportation to drive effectiveness and efficiency that lead to cost savings in the network. Recognize issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Initiate and develop tracking tools to measure accountability of project, results, and timely execution.
- Design, develop, maintain and support analytical tools to automate Network & Capacity Planning by using fleet information from different sources such as Telematics, GIS, and SAP-TM.
- Support Internal and External Customers with respect to finding, analyzing and measuring opportunities in the network, and provide critical business insights that are actionable.
- Create customized reporting and dashboards for management and team.
- Responsible for maintenance of database, forecast, planning and network model, keeping it up to date and error free; optimize to support cost savings initiatives for the group of companies.
- Support the design, initiation and improvement of corporate information and technological systems.
- Assess the network foot print to optimize the location, size and coverage model of Hubs, depots, retail centers, etc. to both maximize service and minimize cost. Ensure team members, management and stakeholders to understand the nature of the projects, expectations, deliverables, risks, progress and milestones.
- Identify strategic and tactical opportunities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Business Professional, or Supply Chain Designation, or Engineer with knowledge in transportation networks and Operational/Business Analytics.
- Experience in project management, business analyst in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or transportation industries.
- Integration of analysis and management, problem solving, strong analytical skills, process improvement, facilities layout, information systems, work methods and performance standards, supply chain planning, and human resources planning.
- Data Analysis: Strong competency with Excel, VBA, Access, Power BI and Database software.
- Project Management: Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing projects. Ability to coordinate complex and multi-dimensional projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Communication Skills: Above average communication skills and planning skills. Must be able to negotiate with senior managers when recommending new methods and procedures. Motivated, influential and resilient.
- Business Professional, or Supply Chain Designation, or Engineer with knowledge in transportation networks and Operational/Business Analytics.
