
Fleet and Sustainability Manager

- Lead vehicle procurement strategy, including lease vs. buy decisions and vehicle selection aligned with business and sustainability goals.
- Manage relationships with fleet vendors, leasing partners, fuel providers, and maintenance providers.
- Oversee daily fleet operations such as dispatching, utilization, maintenance, and telematics.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and extend vehicle life.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable national and provincial regulations.
- Drive fleet electrification and decarbonization strategies aligned with GoBolt's sustainability commitments.
- Conduct ROI and cost-benefit analyses for electric and alternative-fuel vehicle transitions.
- Oversee EV charging infrastructure planning and implementation in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Integrate sustainability into day-to-day operations and long-term transportation strategy.
- Monitor fleet KPIs including subleasing progress, fuel efficiency, idle time, and EV adoption (% network-wide and by merchant).
- Report insights and recommendations to leadership to drive performance improvements.
- Ensure accurate data collection and ESG reporting; support in building and maintaining dashboards that track fleet and sustainability performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for fleet and sustainability initiatives.
- Engage with government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners on compliance, incentives, and sustainability best practices.
- You have 3+ years of experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments like startups or consulting, with a focus on strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
- You have a proven track record of owning complex projects from idea to launch - defining scope, navigating ambiguity, and driving results.
- You act like an owner - you take responsibility for outcomes and want to shape the direction of the company.
- You're analytical and data-driven - quick to identify trends, solve problems, and optimize for impact. You're fluent in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable with SQL or eager to learn.

- You're highly organized and able to balance short-term priorities, long-term goals, and cross-functional team needs.
- You have experience at an early-stage or rapidly scaling startup.
- You have experience working in the last-mile, parcel, or field service delivery industry.
- You have knowledge of local/federal EV incentives, grant writing, and public-private partnerships.
- You have earned an advanced degree or certification in sustainability or environmental science, or credentials related to fleet management (e.g., CAFM).
