Our Value Stream Management (VSM) platform has enabled our customers to dramatically reduce their time to market and increase the velocity of software development.We’re seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, working closely with our senior team members, you will design, implement, and test features for a generative AI interface for our products. These features will allow users to interact with an AI to identify management concerns and suggest possible actions to address the concerns.You will be collaborating with multiple teams within Planview including Product and Artificial Intelligence. Multiple Planview teams will provide a variety of management data including OKR's, product portfolios, and engineering work tickets.The ideal candidate enjoys developing new features with AI for AI-based products and collaborating with other teams.
What You'll DoBring AI to life in a variety of Planview products by supporting those teams with an exciting new agentic platform. Collaborate with the Product team to enable AI-based customer use cases. Work with other development teams as stakeholders. Develop and deploy scalable services using a modern tech stack.
What You'll BringSkills, Knowledge, and Expertise:4+ years of professional software development experience and a proven ability to deliver3+ years of experience with Java, and its idioms and design patterns1+ years of working experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP1+ years of working with React1+ years of working with Spring1+ years of working with relational databasesExperience working with LLMs such as Claude SonnetExperience working in a DevOps environment where you build it, you support itA strong understanding and belief in modern coding and design principlesKnowledge of best practices in software design and agile development processesDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldWhat gives you an edge:Practical experience with real-world applications of AI applied to software development
Experience with data strategyExperience with cloud-to-cloud integrations
