- In-Office based position (Edmonton), Mon - Fri with remote work on weekends (14/7 schedule)
- 2 roations available:
- 14 on 7 off, 8 hours per day with potential of up to 12 hours per day when required by project.
- 5 on 2 off, 8 hrs per day with OT as required by project.
- Accurate and efficient data entry of daily labour, equipment and 3rd Party charges into a custom costing/billing database according to pre-established deadlines;
- Enter timesheets into payroll tally and Spira.
- Entry of 3rd party charges into the electronic ticketing database in accordance with Subcontractor agreements including PO receiving;
- Administer all incoming and outgoing workers with respect to required tickets, training, transportation and travel, passes, and accommodations;
- Track and receive Purchase Orders in an electronic accounting software program;
- Update tracking spreadsheets (crew contact info for supervision, monthly crew list required for Client random A&D selections, supplier contact info)
- Assist Project Manager/Superintendent with crew logistics;
- Create and/or update existing spreadsheets, including but not limited to the tracking of site personnel, equipment hours, safety stats, and New to Morgan workers / mentors, ensuring that information is accurate and updated; and
- Other such administrative duties as required.
- Minimum 6 months of site administration experience
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to show initiative and be a self-starter.
- Detail and results oriented with the ability to multi task, and adhere to deadlines, even in high pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently, and within a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Promote positive relationships working in a team environment or when dealing with vendors and co-workers.
- Willing to do occasional travel to remote site with camp stay as required
- Must be experienced dealing with confidential information in accordance with privacy legislation.
- Certificate from a recognized Office Administration, Accounting or Finance Program;
- Knowledge of basic payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Experience in a construction, oil/gas, or heavy equipment environment would be an asset;
- Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
