Diversified Industries Investment Banking covers both established and emerging companies in non-commodity sectors. In this role, you will play a critical part in execution, client service and idea generation across various projects in advisory, equity capital markets and debt capital markets.## AccountabilitiesPrimary duties consist of, but are not limited to:
  • Play a leadership role in our goal of providing superior transaction execution for our clients.
  • Support senior bankers in generating M&A and capital structure ideas for our clients.
  • Lead and being responsible for thoughtful and accurate financial analysis and presentations, including overseeing pitches, transaction materials and management presentations.
  • Lead, mentor and develop junior investment banking professionals (Analysts and Associates).
  • Monitoring capital markets and sector activity.
## Skills, Experience & Requirements
  • Significant investment banking experience (a minimum of 5 years total investment banking experience for the Vice President role).
  • Investment banking experience that demonstrates an active role in lead-managed M&A and capital raises, especially closed transactions.
  • Strong knowledge in capital markets products.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving and financial modelling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and industry research platforms (e.g. Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg).
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Experience in overseeing the preparation of investment banking pitches, transaction information memoranda and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a team player approach.
  • Self starter attitude with the ability to think independently and execute effective judgement.
  • Significant experience managing deals through the entire execution phase is a strong asset. A university degree with a focus on Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Engineering.
  • One, of or a combination of, an MBA, CFA, CA and/or CPA designations will be considered a strong asset.
