Brief Description:Our employer is a luxury real estate developer. They are looking for a reliable and responsible professional in the field of accounting, for a one year contract. This individiual will work closely with the management, with accounting department staff, with our property management clients and with other 3rd parties.We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in the full accounting cycle, a thorough understanding of accounting principles and taxation principles, strong learning abilities, high work ethics and sense of responsibility.Job Function:
- Full responsibility to provide tax services for Non-resident clients of Dash Property Management, including withholding tax payment monitoring and controls, preparation of tax forms for non-resident clients, preparation of tax returns, tax applications and other tax related tasks and communications.
- To maintain an updated data for NR account status and submit on time the tax forms for all relevant property management clients.
- Communication with CRA, with NR clients and with other 3rd parties about NR tax issues.
- Bank reconciliations for the transition bank account of property management.
- Additional posting related to the monthly services and to the financial operations of property management.
- Assisting other people in the Accounting Department and other colleagues in the office.
- Communicating in an effective and positive manner with colleagues and 3rd parties relevant for the job.
- To be proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions in financial and accountings areas.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum years of accounting experience: 2 years
- Experience with filing Canadian Taxes and working with the
- CRA- a significant asset
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Good attention to details
- Strong learning abilities in multiple software environments
- Team player with effective communications skills
- Strong since of personal responsibility and ability to consistently meet all deadlines
