OverviewAs a Copywriter at The Pub, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our clients’ digital and social mediacampaigns. In partnership with an Art Director, you will collaborate to execute concepts for digital channels, social campaigns and ongoing organic social content. Your ability to think strategically and deliver high- quality socially relevant solutions will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Art Director, content creator, and design team to translate creative concepts into compelling social content campaigns for our clients
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously and delivers on client expectations and meets objectives consistently
- Oversee the production of video content, including storyboarding, directing, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality output.
- Work closely with art directors, designers, and account managers to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
- Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients, effectively communicating the strategic rationale behind your work.
- Post-secondary education in copywriting, journalism, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a copywriter role, preferably within an advertising agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work.
- Exceptional creative thinking and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, impactful work.
- Analytical skills to evaluate creative approach, and seek unexpected, original and innovative ideas.
