Then this job is for you!The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for Competitiveness & Business Improvement Manager (f/m) to join our Procurement team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Airbus Procurement teams based in Mirabel and in Europe (France, Germany, Spain and UK).You will be part of the Aerostructure Procurement team responsible for competitiveness and Business Improvement.The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.Your role as A220 Competitiveness & Business Improvement Manager will be to coordinate, consolidate and support A220 competitiveness projects & initiatives, as well as to coordinate and lead all cross-functional projects & continuous improvement initiatives with the Aerostructure procurement teams.Your working environment:The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone’s throw away. You will work hand-in-hand with the Aerostructure commodities, the A220 Aerostructure purchasing manager, and the Aerostructure Competitiveness lead to achieve project goalsAssist the commodities leader by driving the preparation of competitiveness reviews (cost projections, status of claims from/to suppliers, etc.).Business Improvement Manager A220Coordinate the Procurement deliverables for one of the major company transformation project (Standard products Autonomy)In this role you will report to the A220 Aerostructure procurement manager, based in Mirabel.Your boarding pass:Procurement experience is essential, although applications from applicants with good business and/ or technical experience and knowledge of the Procurement process are also welcomed.Experience and competences in Project management methodologiesExperience in working in a multi-functional environment, stakeholder management and influencing internal customers.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Commercial / Contract / Finance knowledge is required.Negotiation level in English, other languages would be an asset.***If required - travel***This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).Travel Required: Occasional travel within US & EuropeOccasional business travels will be expected; consequently you must be willing to travel accordingly.Travel Required:
