An elderly gentleman of 91 years, of Asian descent, is seeking a compassionate and reliable senior care professional to provide assistance during the weekends and Monday. This role entails a duty of care involving a regular schedule every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am till 10:00 pm, alongside Mondays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Moreover, critical to this position is the requirement of transportation to MGH every Saturday for dialysis, therefore a valid driver's license is essential. This position offers 20 - 30 hours per week and commences instantly. Although this is not a live-in role, the caregiver will need to manage several responsibilities during their work hours. Tasks include hand washing dishes, vacuuming, providing assistance with walking, cleaning the bathroom, meal planning and preparation, laundry, offering bathing assistance and accompanying to appointments. The senior individual under your care requires a caregiver familiar with beginning stage of dementia. We hope to find an empathetic candidate who specializes in Alzheimer/Dementia care. Do note that a family vehicle will be available for use on the job.
